Chiltern Stronghold
London
Marylebone has the rare quality of feeling like a village at the heart of Central London, unhurried, considered, and quietly refined. This apartment matched its surroundings: intimate in scale, but with ambitions that were anything but modest.

When asked by a client to design their pied-à-terre in Marylebone, spitting distance from Chiltern Street, one only has to look locally for inspiration. An area known for its tailored fashion shops and energetic restaurants; it was hardly a tedious destination to venture for site visits.
Located on the top floor of a Victorian mansion block, the apartment still had its original layout and charm, however the rooms weren’t generous and the client wanted a fresh layout in which to entertain and enjoy their time in London.
The client came to us with a strong eye, a love of mid-century furniture, and a head full of ideas. The job, as it often is, was translating those ideas into something buildable: working drawings, spatial decisions, and the kind of detail that turns a vision into a finished home.
